We’re online shoppers too; we understand the security concerns online shoppers have. For this reason Door Hardware Plus takes security very seriously and we make every effort to ensure a safe and secure online purchasing experience for our customers.
Door Hardware Plus is in full compliance with the PCI Data Security Standards (DSS) which were put forth by the PCI Security Standards Council comprised of American Express, Visa, Mastercard, JCB and Discover. The following measures are just a small part of what we do to ensure we are compliant with PCI DSS and to keep our customers shopping experience as secure and safe as possible.
1. Door Hardware Plus uses state of the art Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to ensure secure all web pages that contain sensitive including personally identifiable information and credit card information is encrypted and safe.
2. Door Hardware Plus uses Thawte SSL123 Certificate confirming that all data to and from the site is encrypted and secure. Thawte also verifies and confirms a registered domain name to ensure we are as secure as possible.
3. Door Hardware Plus employs McAfee Secure to check daily for any possible security risks ensuring that we are in compliance with the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test.
4. Customer information is maintained in a restricted section and encrypted; only employees who require this information to perform specific job functions have access to personally identifiable data.
5. Door Hardware Plus, meets all BBBOnLine participation and Better Business Bureau membership standards and is authorized to display the BBBOnLine trustmark.
